Marathon training aches and pains! 

Marathon training, it’s not easy, in fact it can really hurt whilst you’re building up the mileage! I know this as I’m currently training for my first marathon, ouch! 

I regularly use sports massage as a tool to help me recover between long runs.
The benefits of sports massage include:

– Speedier recovery from training and racing

– Injury prevention and quicker post injury recovery

– Increased flexibility

– Relief from niggling aches, pains and stiff joints

– Improved posture and body alignment

– Reduce mental stress and promote mental relaxation
